To chain an existing open object

1. Select the object you want to augment.

2. Select a drawing method. Hollow boxes appear at both ends of the line when an applicable method is selected.

3. Point to a box at one end of the line and draw the next portion of the object.

4. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to chain more segments.
